Hello all once more, fellow DA memebers and friends I have met and made from here. As I now have some free time available due to Halloween approacing very soon, I am going to be spending it doing both in catching up in writing fan fictions I left started and unfinished while still hunting for a job as I have been for years since I graduated from college in 2006 with a Bachelor's Degree in history. Unfortunately, I cannot celebrate Halloween as both sadly was forced to grow out of 'trick-or-treating' due to age since years ago, I currently live in a community which either does not believe in Halloween or too rural to allow the children to wander on long dirt roads through endless wilderness at night, and still have to help the family look after the health of my sick, disabled mother. So, all I can do is this as I mentioned and enjoy what I am about to propose to you if you wish to do it solely for the fun of it.
Now, if anyone else also has some free time on their hands while waiting for Halloween to come and even stil have some time after Halloween getting over the candy-induced sugar rush or the hangover from the party booze, I like to ask DA artists to draw a picture relating to Halloween. Now, of course, some people are already doing this without and before me asking on other themes and in different ways, but what I want to suggest is implementing the theme and fun of Halloween into something particular than what some have already done or yet doing differently.
Being a fellow Marvel's X-Men fan Gambit & Rogue, I see very little, if not a all, much in the existence of those 2 popular comic book hero characters dress up or actualy being anything for Halloween. A few have done this either most recently or a long time ago, but so far it is for other characters than Gambit & Rogue or other version of them than of them from the canon comics. And still they are rare in numbers as if Halloween only happens once every several years. Thus, my announcment to you all on this topic.
I like to see your favorite Halloween theme or costume done upon both some of your personal favorite X-Men, but I like to see more of Gambit & Rogue included if not done alone together in the drawing. And it can be about ANYTHING! I personally, though, would love to see Gambit and Rogue dressed up as or actually being vampires, and that is what I like to see alot of as much as anything else as I am along-time fan of vampires (except for Twilight, sorry) in terms of Halloween creatures. But, it would also be nice to see some were-anthros as well like werewolves and werecats. Werewolves are my second favorite Halloween monster, too.
Just to let you know, this is only a friendly social request of doing something simply for fun. That means for nothing else involves profit as I do not nor cannot afford to buy anything online whatsoever. Sorry. Otherwise, happy Halloween to you all and enjoy drawing the Ragin' Cajun and the Southern Belle being part of the Witching Hour!
